We kicked off the summer with our first Fly-In Food Fest of the year, and it was an extraordinary success! Thanks to all who came to support the EAA Chapter 320, as well as our veterans and first responders! The ramp was buzzing with excitement and the spirit of community.
A huge thanks to Heroes for Heroes WI and American Legion Auxiliary #189 for their table displays, to the Watertown Fire Department, Watertown Police Department, Flight for Life Transport System, and the National Guard for making appearances at the airport! We also would like to thank the Wisconsin Aviation team for their hospitality and support in ensuring every fly-in functions so smoothly.
We had nearly 40 aircraft fly-in and served over 275 meals over the course of the night. Talk about kicking off the year right! Thanks to the weather gods for giving us a beautiful night to unite with aviation enthusiasts and pay homage to veterans and first responders throughout the community.
Mark your calendars for our next Fly-In Food Fest on June 21st from 5-7pm. The theme will be Trivia Night, so come prepared for a night of fun and knowledge!
