Flying Start Day

May 20th marked a momentous day for a few select members of the community as they participated in the EAA Chapter 320's Flying Start Day. The group of passionate individuals embarked on an awe-inspiring adventure, immersing themselves in the world of aviation and experiencing the pure exhilaration of taking flight.

EAA Flying Start is a free, chapter hosted program which welcomes, inspires, and educates aspiring pilots about their pathway to becoming a pilot. Adults 18+ were encouraged to attend if they had any interest in becoming a pilot - or if they were just curious to learn more. We had 20+ individuals sign up and experience a day of airport fun.

A big thank you goes out to all of the chapter members who volunteered their time, knowledge, and airplanes to make this day possible. A VERY big thank you to Dan B. (EAA 320 Flying Start Coordinator) for his contributions and coordination of this event. Finally, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended the event, we eagerly look forward to seeing you around the airport in the near future. We can only hope that we passed on the flying bug and ignited a deep passion for aviation within all of you!
