Our chapter is thrilled to, once again, announce the “graduation” of a Ray Scholar: Tyler Traxler!
Tyler recently passed his private pilot checkride, and is pictured here with Nate Dailing, Chapter Scholarship Coordinator, receiving a Lightspeed Zulu 3 headset (donated by Lightspeed Aviation) as a reward for completing his primary training. Congratulations and best of luck in pursuing your aviation dream, Tyler!
The EAA Ray Aviation Scholarship has been a success since its launch in 2019, with a completion rate of 80% or more for youth who get their pilot certificates through this program. The success of this program is thanks to the many EAA chapters that devote time and effort to help young aviators become pilots. Chapters like ours are not only helping to create new pilots, but are also helping youth and young adults learn valuable life skills along the way.
